Phnom Penh, 05-06 November 2020 – AIA (Cambodia) Life Insurance Plc (“AIA Cambodia”) recently donated necessities to more than 400 families to help sustain them as they go about rebuilding their lives after the country’s most severe flood in years.
AIA Cambodia management, staff and Life Planners delivered packs containing food and drinks, personal hygiene products and cash to families residing in Battambang and Banteay Meanchey.
Mrs. Soun Savak, who received the contribution on behalf of the families at Rukha Kiri district, said: “We are grateful for the support and assistance provided by AIA Cambodia, especially when so many of those affected by the floods are from needy families. Their kindness will help us stay nourished and remain positive as we look to regain a sense of normalcy in trying times as these.”
Pauline Teoh, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Cambodia said: “Our best wishes and prayers go out to all who have lost loved ones, property and livelihoods. AIA Cambodia cares deeply about the welfare and safety of the communities we work and live in, and we hope our contribution can make a difference in reducing their suffering and help them start rebuilding their lives.”
