THE OFFICIAL LIFE AND HEALTH INSURANCE PARTNER OF CAMBODIA 2023 (32ND SEA GAMES AND 12TH ASEAN PARA GAMES)

We were proud to announce that AIA Cambodia has been recognized as the official Life and Health Insurance Partner of Cambodia 2023, which comprises the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games. We are truly honored to be part of Cambodia’s first hosting of this prestigious event. 

This partnership represents a chance to pledge our undivided support to help Team Cambodia and the Kingdom, as hosts, take the spotlight at next year’s Games. More importantly, our backing of Cambodia 2023 aligns with our purpose to help Cambodians live healthier, longer and better lives and keeps to the AIA Group’s AIA One Billion initiative to help one billion people in Asia do the same by 2030. It is also aimed at reinforcing our long-term commitment to help develop and uplift the nation’s economy as well as ensure positive socioeconomic impacts.

As an Official Partner, we will fully support all Team Cambodia athletes via the Cambodian SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC) with insurance coverage and other rewards to further motivate and encourage them as they focus on achieving their goals. In addition, we aim to motivate the public to generate limitless enthusiasm, excitement, and energy for Team Cambodia. To achieve our aim, we will participate in a torch relay, meet-and-greet sessions and other related events as well as support fundraising activities.

The sponsorship signing ceremony on 28 December 2022 saw H.E. Vath Chamroeun, CAMSOC Secretary General, and Mr. Andrew Loh, AIA Cambodia’s Chief Executive Officer, signing on behalf of both parties at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia office.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun said: “As we strive to stage the best Games possible, CAMSOC is honored to welcome AIA Cambodia on board as Cambodia 2023’s proud Life and Health Insurance Partner. As an organization that has continuously displayed their long-term commitment to the Kingdom, we are confident that AIA Cambodia’s sponsorship will contribute towards inspiring and benefiting Team Cambodia as they go for glory in front of their fellow Cambodians.”

Mr. Andrew Loh said: “We are proud to play our part in championing and promoting Cambodia 2023 both locally and regionally. AIA Cambodia has always prioritized health and wellness, and sports are a key means to achieving optimum wellbeing. We hope the Games and the capabilities, strength and fitness demonstrated by its athletes will inspire more Cambodians to take better care of themselves, which will ultimately lend us a hand in achieving our purpose of helping Cambodians live healthier, longer and better lives.”
