Phnom Penh, 13 April 2021 – AIA (Cambodia) Life Insurance Plc (“AIA Cambodia”) today played their part as responsible corporate citizens by donating more than 800 cartons of noodles to complement the Ministry of Economy and Finance’s initiative to help those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Ksaj Kandal district, Kandal province.
The donation was presented to His Excellency Mey Vann, Secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance by AIA Cambodia’s CEO Ms. Pauline Teoh & management.
Ms. Pauline Teoh said: “Our hearts go out to the individuals and families afflicted by the lockdown. We understand that they may be feeling demoralized, especially as it’s during the festive period, but this is in their best interest. AIA Cambodia hopes that our contribution adds to the Ministry’s ongoing initiative and offers those undergoing lockdown some relief during what we’re sure is a difficult period.”
